Blissey Basic Ability Lock Tank

Blissey V is a Pokémon that can deal huge amount of damage if it has enough Energy, and whose Blissful Blast attack attaches Energy (even Special Energy) from the discard pile. In other words, if Blissey gets enough time, it will accumulate a bunch of powerful Special Energy and become more and more powerful. This plan requires it to tank attacks, but between the damage reduction from Bouffalant, the HP increase from Bravery Charm, and the healing from Hyper Potion, Blissey can become very resilient, while Mist Energy ensures it's also immune to attacks like Roaring Moon ex's Frenzied Gouging.

Even with Battle Compressor Team Flare Gear, Blissey is slow to ramp up, which it tries to mitigate by using disruption cards like Path to the Peak. The question becomes, is it enough to slow down its opponents and let Blissey become an unkillable monster? The answer, so far, seems to be no. But Blissey is a unique archetype, one of the few Expanded decks to rely on defense without being a Control or Stall deck, and perhaps it just needs one more great Special Energy card to become a powerful deck.
